“We own two of these and have been using them non-stop for the last 2 months as we travel full-time across the country in our Airstream.
They are durable and work on more than sand. We've spent the past few months bouncing around the desert and these have worked on all types of rock and dirt areas. Water and rain pass through the mats without problems. They're relatively lightweight, yet won't' blow away in most light winds. I'd say above 10mph gusts you'd want to stake them down. But we rarely stake ours."
